Ikigai is a Japanese concept. ‘Iki’ means life and ‘gai’ describes your value.

Our constant search to understand why we exist, what we live for and the ultimate purpose of it all is what makes up our journey through life. On both the individual and the collective levels, we want to find this meaning. Even when we’re at work, we want what we are doing to not only satisfy our monetary needs but give us happiness, fuel our passions and provide a sense of achievement.
